Cracking software, according to wikipedia, is the modification of software to remove or disable features which are considered undesirable by the person cracking the software, especially copy protection features or software annoyances. In this video recording of my Facebook live streaming, I gave my translation community a bunch of advice on which software and platforms, stand-alone and/or cloud-based, most translators require to establish a successful career in translation and localication.

Useful software mentioned in this episode:

Computer-aided translation software: SDL Trados Studio, memoQ, Wordfast Pro, Smartling, Memsource, Wordbee, among others;

Microsoft Office Suite: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.;

Cloud-based productivity platforms: Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.,

Adobe Products: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe InDesign, etc.
